My recording screen is black.

If your recording screen is black, this is due to a permissions issue.

In order to correct this problem, follow the steps below:

• Go to your Settings app.
• Scroll through the menu and tap Behavior Capture.
• The first section is listed as Allow Capture to Access.
• Make sure all permissions are on.
• If not, tap on them until all of the buttons turn GREEN.

Return to the Behavior Capture app and your recording screen should be working.

If this does not work, the issue might be with the device’s camera. If your device allows you to record while the camera is aimed at you or if the camera has the ability to flip in different directions while on the recording screen, this means that something is wrong with your device’s hardware.
