Matthew Goodwin, Ph.D.

Matthew S. Goodwin, Ph.D., received his B.A. in Psychology from Wheaton College in 1998 and his M.A. in 2005 and Ph.D. in 2008, both in Experimental Psychology, from the University of Rhode Island. He is the Director of Clinical Research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Media Laboratory and Associate Director of Research at the Groden Center – an Institute for Autism Spectrum Disorders in Providence, RI. He serves on the Executive Board of the International Society for Autism Research, is Co-Chair of the Autism Speaks-Innovative Technology for Autism Initiative, and has an Adjunct Associate Research Scientist appointment in the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at Brown University. He has over 15 years of research and clinical experience working with the full spectrum of children and adults with ASD; is well acquainted with a variety of experimental methods and statistical approaches used in the behavior sciences; and has extensive experience developing and evaluating innovative technologies for behavioral assessment, including telemetric physiological monitors, accelerometry sensors, and digital video/facial recognition systems.

Tom Hardart, MBA

Mr. Hardart advises on business strategy and direction. Mr. Hardart negotiated many successful alliances for AOL, and retired in 2001. He has most recently started a movie company with investment backing.

Timothy Lacy, M.D.

CEO of Stonetree Medical Technologies; Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry and at George Washington University School of Medicine

Timothy Lacy, M.D. received his medical degree from Texas A&M University. From 1996-2005 he developed and directed the National Capital Consortium Military Combined Residency Program in Family Practice and Psychiatry and lead for neuroscience and neuropsychiatry education. He also served as Chief of Telehealth, Enterprise Imaging, and Cybermedicine for the U.S. Air Force, a consultant to the Army Telemedicine and Technology Research Center (TATRC), and a member of the NATO Medical Communication/Inform Systems & Telemedicine Expert Panel. He deployed the DoD’s largest psychological virtual reality treatment systems, conducted trials of virtual worlds, and created worldwide systems in telecardiology and teleradiology. His work with Behavior Imaging dates to 2007 when he introduced the military to Behavior Imaging for the supervision of applied behavior analysis and therapy for autism. Dr. Lacy has won numerous local and national awards for his teaching and writing. He has published 27 articles in peer-reviewed journals and over 90 national and international academic presentations. He is currently Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry and at George Washington University School of Medicine and CEO of Stonetree Medical Technologies.

Jasjit Suri, Ph.D, MBA, Fellow AIMBE

Imaging Systems

Jasjit is an internationally acclaimed imaging technologies expert. He holds a master’s degree from the University of Illinois, a Ph.D. from the University of Washington, and an MBA from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University. He has published extensively on diagnostic and therapeutic biomedical imaging devices and is a Fellow of the American Institute of Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE). His specialties are technology development & management, telehealth, and forming strategic alliances. He oversees the company’s imaging technologies and assists the CEO with strategic planning.

Tyler T. Whitney, Psy.D.

Founder / Clinical Director Intermountain Center for Autism and Child Development Meridian, Idaho

Dr. Whitney works with children, adolescents, and young adults and their families, and in systems in which problems with self-regulation, relational development, cognitive dysfunction, self-concept, and information processing difficulties are evident. He is the founder and currently the Clinical Director for ICACD, with staff privileges at St. Luke’s Regional Medical Center (Boise and Meridian facilities). In addition, he is adjunct faculty at University of Idaho in the Counseling and Human Services graduate program. He consults with hospitals, residential facilities, and school districts throughout the Intermountain region. Dr. Whitney is active in research related to the clinical application of telemedicine, autism spectrum disorders, and systems of care that render out of home placement to children, adolescents, and young adults. Dr. Whitney is a full member of INSAR (International Society of Autism Research).

Tom Young, MD

Recently Served as President

Tom Young’s medical and health IT career spans nearly four decades, with experience helping organizations such as EDS, Qualis and as the Idaho Medicaid Official in charge of the state’s Health Programs through 2003. Dr. Young then served as CIO and CMO for Connextions Health — a successful health IT firm in Florida. Dr. Young returned to Idaho to help the Children’s Home Society of Idaho open the state’s leading regional autism clinic. He also maintains a private practice specializing in pediatric behavioral issues and telehealth.
