On June 13, 2010, Dr. Tyler Whitney of the Intermountain Center for Autism & Child Development appeared on NBC Channel 7 in Boise, Idaho, to discuss his center’s use of Behavior Imaging Solution’s technology to provide remote services to children with autism under a new United States Air Force program. Children of military personnel at military bases, such as the Mountain Home Air Force Base (Mountain Home, Idaho) often lack access to badly-needed care.
About the Speaker:
Tyler Whitney, Psy.D., is the Clinical Director of the Intermountain Center for Autism & Child Development (ICACD) in Meridian, Idaho. Dr. Whitney has 10 years of clinical experience working with children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral disorders, and 6 years of experience working with families and children with autism and other developmental disabilities. He works with children and adolescents, their families, and systems in which problems with self-regulation, relational development, cognitive dysfunction, self-concept, and information processing difficulties are evident. Dr Whitney consults with hospitals, residential facilities, and school districts throughout the Intermountain region, and is adjunct faculty at the University of Idaho.
