RESPALDADO POR INVESTIGACIÓN

El Instituto Nacional para la Salud Mental, y el Centro para la Investigación Innovadora de Pequeñas Empresas, (SBIR, por sus siglas en inglés), subvencionan múltiples estudios clínicos, los cuales demuestran que el protocolo de NODA es un servicio de evaluación eficaz para diagnosticar el autismo. Behavior Imaging colaboró con El Centro del Suroeste para la Investigación y Recursos para el Autismo, (SARRC, por sus siglas en inglés), Instituto de Georgia par la Tecnología, e investigadores de otras organizaciones para comparar a NODA con otros procedimientos ampliamente aceptados para el diagnóstico del espectro autista. NODA utiliza métodos de captura de datos que son fáciles de usar, así como médicos confiables y con licencia, entrenados especialmente para detectar y diagnosticar el autismo.

• • • NODA puede brindar apoyo a centros clínicos y de diagnóstico para entrenar a familias de forma más efectiva respecto a listas de espera, pues sabemos que el tiempo es esencial para la intervención y tratamiento del desorden del espectro autista.

• • • NODA conecta a médicos expertos con familias que se encuentran en lugares remotos. Los(as) menores que habitan en áreas rurales o remotas, ahora pueden ser evaluados(as) por un grupo de expertos altamente capacitados en autismo, sin tener que realizar viajes largos y/o costosos.

• • • El informe de diagnóstico emitido por los médicos de NODA, proporciona una evaluación detallada de los comportamientos del(la) menor, el cual a su vez puede ser utilizado por el equipo al cuidado de su salud, y con ello, determinar los pasos inmediatos para continuar el cuidado del(la) menor.
